It’s a rainy weekend and am updating the website after some time of being a bit slack. Our horse feed business has been slowly growing. We purchased a pellet mill 6 months ago and it has been a lot of work figuring out how to make hay pellets ourselves. Lucerne pellets are easier to make than timothy pellets, and yet timothy pellets are such a marvelous product we are determined to keep going until we are able to produce them a bit more efficiently and reliably.
After a horrible breeding season last year we welcomed one special foal last season, a full sister to Whiterocks Freya and is just like her. She is the sweetest thing. We have two foals coming this season one a guaranteed palomino by Blue Eyed Ghost out of our NZWB studbook mare Sabrina. The second by exciting German imported colt Epiton MD (Escolar/Quaterback)) out of our beautiful Tb mare Smitten.
