Foaling time again. After a going an agonising 3 weeks overdue Kate delivered a strapping bay colt on 2nd November. This was followed two weeks later by Smitten producing an exquisite chestnut colt. However horses are great levelers and we were heart broken when our new warmblood mare Sabrina delivered a still born filly three weeks early. It appeared she had suffered from an umbilical cord torsion.

On the feed side Spring is all about getting that first cut of haylage. After selling out of haylage last season we were keen to secure as much as we could from our block. It was a good growing season and Andrew was able to bale over 1000 bales from our first cut.
