The very dry autumn carried on into a very dry winter, with June being the driest June on record for North Otago.  Fortunately we have seen some rain in August and are hoping it is going to continue into spring.  As predicted we sold out of conventional haylage and hay so are looking forward to being able to supply these products again next season.

For some time I have been looking for a warmblood broodmare to add to my team and was pleased to welcome Sabrina to Whiterocks.  She is royally bred with both parents being the product of Imported Frozen Semen.  Her pedigree is full of international dressage greats including Sandro Hit, Brentano II and Royal Diamond.   Sabrina was purchased in foal to a stunning Worldly colt that is the spitting image of his sire, the foal is due in November will be for sale.

However by far the most exciting thing to happen during winter was the arrival of our little boy.  Corbin Edsall Dickson born on 27th August.   He is a lovely healthy lad and we are thriving as a family of four.
